Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 4 July 2025

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using PlagiarismRemovalServices.com (the “Website”) and our services. By accessing or using our Website and services, you (“User” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must refrain from using our site or services. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Plagiarism Removal Services (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Scope of Services

PlagiarismRemovalServices.com provides academic support services, primarily focusing on:

Plagiarism Checking

We generate similarity reports for documents (e.g., via Turnitin, Drillbit, and PlagiarismCheckerX) to help you identify content that may be non-original.

Plagiarism Removal / Editing

We offer manual rewriting, paraphrasing, and editing services by subject-matter experts to help reduce the similarity index of academic documents (theses, dissertations, research papers, review papers, etc.) while preserving your original intent and meaning.

Consultation and Guidance

We provide advice on proper citation, formatting, and general writing improvements to help you improve the originality and clarity of your work.

All services will be delivered as per the specifications and deadlines mutually agreed upon when you place an order or request with us (subject to timely payment and your cooperation in providing necessary information or clarifications).

Important: While we strive to reduce plagiarism to acceptable levels (e.g., below a certain similarity percentage) and adhere to quality standards, we do not guarantee any specific outcome, such as journal acceptance or a particular grade. The effectiveness of our service also depends on how the work is used by you (see below given section on Proper Use).

User Obligations and Academic Integrity

Accurate Information

You will provide true, accurate, and complete information about yourself and your project when engaging our services. This includes providing a valid email, contact number, and any necessary details about your document’s requirements (such as target similarity percentage, citation style, or specific sections to focus on). If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Ownership of Work

You confirm that you are the author or have legitimate rights to the work submitted to us for plagiarism checking/removal. If the document contains third-party content, you confirm you have the right to use it or are seeking to properly cite it. We do not condone submitting someone else’s work as your own. By using our service, you affirm that you are not violating any academic policies by seeking editorial assistance.

Proper Use of Edited Work

You will not ask us to write new original content that would amount to commissioning a thesis/paper for submission under your name (that would be an academic dishonesty service, which we do not provide). You will also not request that we include false data or fake references or engage in any form of falsification or fabrication in your document. Our agreement may be terminated immediately if we discover the work you’ve submitted or requested from us involves fraudulent or unethical practices.

Prohibition on Editing Plagiarism Reports

You agree not to request us to edit, alter, or falsify the plagiarism report files (PDF) we provide. Editing such reports is strictly prohibited and can be detected easily if the document is rechecked in the same software. Any attempt to edit these reports constitutes a misuse of our services and may result in immediate termination of our service relationship without refund, and you will bear sole responsibility for any consequences arising from such actions.

No Dishonest Requests

We provide services with the expectation that you will use them ethically. Our plagiarism removal and editing services are meant to improve the originality and quality of your own writing, not to facilitate academic misconduct. You agree not to misrepresent the assistance received from us as your own independent work in violation of academic or publisher rules. For example, if your university requires disclosure of editing help, it is your responsibility to do so. All work we return to you is intended as a model or support for your revision process; you should review the changes and understand them. You must not submit our edited output unchanged if that would violate your institution’s policies. We help you “remove plagiarism” in a constructive manner (through rewriting and citations), but ultimately you are accountable for ensuring the final submission meets the required standards of academic integrity.

Compliance with Policies

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and the rules of any academic or research institution associated with the work. We provide support services; it’s your duty to ensure using our service does not violate any code of conduct you are under. If you are unsure, please check your institution’s guidelines on editing assistance before using our service.

Ordering, Payment, and Refunds

Compliance with Policies

Placing Orders: To request a service (plagiarism check or removal), you may use our online order form or contact us via email/WhatsApp as provided on the site. We will typically respond with a quote or ask for more details about the project (such as word count, current plagiarism percentage, desired plagiarism percentage, deadline, etc.). An order is considered confirmed once both you and we agree on the scope, price, and timeline, and payment is received (if upfront payment is required).

Pricing and Payment

Our service pricing may depend on factors like document length (number of words/pages), the complexity of content, and requested turnaround time. We strive to present transparent pricing (e.g., via a pricing table or communicated quote) before you commit. All payments are to be made in the currency and method specified (for example, INR or USD via online payment gateway, bank transfer, etc.). You are responsible for any transaction fees or taxes (we will inform you if any apply). For larger projects, we may agree to a milestone or split payments—these details will be clarified in writing (email or invoice).

Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with our services. If you are unhappy with the delivered work, please inform us within 10 days of delivery, detailing the issues. We will attempt to address your concerns through revisions or corrections where possible. Due to the nature of our services (which are labor-intensive and custom-tailored), full refunds are generally not provided once work has commenced or been delivered. However, if we fail to deliver the service as per the agreed terms (for instance, we miss the deadline without cause or the agreed-upon similarity reduction is not achieved due to our oversight), you may be eligible for a partial or full refund based on our evaluation of the case. Refund requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis, in line with our Refund Policy (see Refund Policy page). Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.

Cancellation

If you decide to cancel an order, notify us immediately. If cancellation is requested before we start working on your document, we will refund any payment made, minus any transaction fees. If work has already begun, any refund or credit will depend on how much work was completed at the point of cancellation. We will act in good faith to reach a fair resolution.

Turnaround Time and Delivery

Deadlines

We will make our best effort to deliver services (reports, edited documents, etc.) by the deadline agreed upon. Same-day or urgent deliveries are available by prior arrangement (and may incur an additional fee). The delivery date will be confirmed when you place the order.

Communication Delays

Meeting the deadline also depends on your timely cooperation. If we have queries (e.g., need clarification on a portion of text or missing content), and you delay in responding, the delivery might be delayed. We will inform you promptly if we foresee any delay on our side due to unforeseen circumstances (such as technical issues or editor illness).

Delivery Format

Completed work (such as plagiarism reports and edited documents with tracked changes) will be delivered electronically, typically via email or through WhatsApp. We provide the Turnitin/Drillbit/PlagiarismCheckerX plagiarism report in PDF format and the edited manuscript in Word format (.docx).  It is your responsibility to ensure you can access these formats; please let us know in advance if you need alternative delivery means.

Revisions

After delivery, you are encouraged to review the work. If you find any section that needs further improvement or have questions about the changes, you can request a revision. Minor revisions (clarifying a paraphrased sentence, fixing any overlooked grammatical errors, etc.) are provided free of charge, as long as they are within the original scope of work and requested within a reasonable time (within 10 days of delivery). If revisions involve new material or changes in instructions from the original order, additional charges may apply, but we will discuss that with you.

Intellectual Property and Rights

Your Content

You retain all intellectual property rights in the original content you provide to us. We do not claim ownership over your research or writing. The changes and suggestions we provide through our editing process become part of your document, and upon completion of service and full payment, you have full rights to use the edited document as you see fit (in line with the section above, Proper Use). We do not require any attribution or credit in your submitted work—our service is confidential.

Our Materials

Any templates, guides, or proprietary materials we may provide to you (for example, a formatting guide or a sample reference style sheet) remain our intellectual property. They are for your personal use in conjunction with our service and should not be shared or published elsewhere without our permission. Our website content (text, images, logos, and trademarks) is also protected by intellectual property laws. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our site content for any commercial purpose without explicit written consent from us.

Reference Use

We reserve the right to use excerpts of the edited work for our internal quality improvement or training (for example, to train new editors), but any such use will be done confidentially and anonymized. We will never publish or share your work publicly. With your permission, we may ask if you’d allow us to use a brief testimonial or success story on our site; this is entirely up to you and opt-in only.

Limitation of Liability

Service Outcomes

While we strive for excellence, PlagiarismRemovalServices.com is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, outcomes such as a paper rejection, academic penalty, loss of opportunity, or any other result of the use or misuse of our edited content or reports. We provide no warranty or guarantee that our work will result in a particular academic or publication outcome (see the section above on no specific guarantees). The responsibility for the final use of the document lies with you.

Website Use

The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the site at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of any content from our site.

Third-Party Links and Content

Our Website or communications may contain links to third-party websites (for example, blog references or resources on academic writing, or payment gateways). These are provided for convenience or reference only. We have no control over third-party sites and do not endorse or assume any responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or practices. If you click on a third-party link, you do so at your own discretion and risk.

Overall Liability Cap

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms (including for any implied warranties) exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service in question. If the law in your jurisdiction does not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability in certain cases, the above limitation may not apply to you fully—in such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlagiarismRemovalServices.com and our employees, editors, contractors, and affiliates, from any claims, losses, or demands made by any third party due to or arising out of:

(a) your breach of these Terms,

(b) your violation of any law or rights of a third party in the course of using our services, or

(c) misuse of the edited content (for instance, if you use our work in a prohibited manner and a third party, such as a university or publisher, takes action, you will be responsible for handling those consequences and protecting us from involvement).

This indemnification obligation will survive the termination or expiration of these Terms and your use of our services.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy. These Terms incorporate the Privacy Policy by reference. In short, we both agree to maintain confidentiality: we will keep your work and personal details private as described in the Privacy Policy, and you agree not to divulge any confidential aspects of our agreement or interactions without consent (for example, you shouldn’t publicly share non-public correspondence or proprietary methodologies we use). This mutual confidentiality does not restrict you from discussing our service with colleagues or even acknowledging our help if you choose, but ensure that any specific pricing or personal communications are kept private.

Termination of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate our services to anyone at any time, especially if we suspect a violation of these Terms or any illegal/immoral use of our services. If we terminate an ongoing project due to a breach on your part (e.g., we discover the work you submitted is not your own or you intend to misuse the output), we may retain a portion of the payment corresponding to work already done or damages. If we terminate without cause (e.g., due to our own constraints or decision to stop offering a service), and you have paid, you will be entitled to a refund for work not delivered.

You also have the right to discontinue using our services at any time. If you have an account on the Website, you may deactivate it by notifying us. Note that terminating services or deleting an account does not automatically erase your data or obligations incurred (for instance, we may retain records as required, and you are still bound to pay any outstanding invoices). See the Privacy Policy regarding data deletion.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Intellectual Property concerning your obligations to not misuse our IP, etc.) will survive.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country/State/University] without regard to its conflict of law principles. If you are accessing our services from outside [Your Country], you are responsible for compliance with local laws as well, to the extent they apply.

Dispute Resolution

We genuinely hope to never have disputes with our clients. In case of any disagreement or claim arising out of our services or these Terms, we encourage you to contact us first to attempt an informal resolution. Often, a conversation can resolve issues quickly. If a resolution cannot be reached informally, and unless an alternative mechanism is required by law, the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration or small-claims court (depending on the nature and amount of the claim) in [Your City/Region]. You agree to personal jurisdiction in these dispute resolution forums. Each party will bear its own costs in any dispute proceeding, unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator or court.

Exception

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of law for intellectual property or data security violations.

Changes to Terms

We may update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. If changes are substantial, we will provide a more prominent notice (such as a banner on the website or an email notification). It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically for any changes. By continuing to use our services after changes to the Terms are posted, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of our site and services.
