What is Plagiarism?

When some other researcher or academician who is working on the same subject reads their ideas and uses their idea in his/her publication, he should have their consent & should give proper credit to them. Failing in doing so whether intentionally or unintentionally counts toward plagiarism.

What is Self Plagiarism?

If someone has published his work in a publication and again publishes the same idea in a different publication and tries to show it as a New/Unique idea, this is known as Self Plagiarism.

It is like copying previous work of himself / herself.
